William Thomson’s (Lord Kelvin), motherland

The Forum is dedicated to the memory of William Thomson who made a fundamental contribution into the development of thermoelectricity.

The Forum will take place on the premises of the Queen’s University in the city of Belfast, the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland.

The objective of the Forum is the discussion of the latest achievements in thermoelectricity and prospects for its further development.
The International Thermoelectric Academy invites the specialists in thermoelectricity and all those concerned for the participation in the work of the Forum and festivities dedicated to the memory of William Thomson.
